A-B-C offers an optional feature on the company’s case palletizers that automatically places a corrugated sheet on the pallet after it is indexed and before the first layer of cases is loaded. The corrugated sheet acts as a pad between the pallet and the cases, and maintains maximum integrity of case graphics as it eliminates the risk of case scuffing during loading or transport.

The device is automatic, pre-programmed to place a sheet on each pallet after it is indexed from the pallet magazine into loading position. The sheet is lifted from the top of the stack by multiple pneumatic grippers. The grippers are spring-loaded to positively grip the sheet as the transfer head lowers to the stack. Even sheets that are warped or band-marked are smoothly lifted and placed on the pallet.
