This compact case sealer runs cases at speeds to 45 cases per minute, with a continuous operation design that accepts cases that are fed spaced or back-to-back, and provides automatic flap folding and sealing. There are several features that are key to forming square cases; most important is the powered compression section with dual top and bottom belt drive. This unique feature combines the bottom case drive belt with a powered upper belt drive to convey the case and provide secure compression as the adhesive sets. The top belt drive pulls the case through compression and prevents the major flaps from skewing which happens in non-powered units. Spring-loaded rollers under the belt adjust to any variations in case height to ensure secure sealing. Additional features include the contoured flap folders that gently close the flaps while a steel tongue rides in the center to prevent flap overlap.
