| NEW BAG LOADER AND HORIZONTAL SEAL SYSTEM October 26, 2004 Ronkonkoma, NY, USA FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE All Packaging Machinery Corp., Ronkonkoma, New York, makes available a new bag opening, filling, sealing and shrink packaging system for wicketted printed or plain shrink bags as well as plain polyethylene bags. The system consists of an all air operated stainless steel bag loader model SBP-SS-AA-16 interfaced with a USDA approved horizontal continuous band sealer model HCBS. The bag loader accommodates bags up to 11” wide and can open bags at a rate of up to 36 bags per minute. The HCBS offers state of the art odorless and smokeless sealing with a 1/8” secure final seal and trim. Unit is designed with heavy duty long life chrome plated sealing assemblies designed to seal Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyolefin and PVC shrink films. A digital read out microprocessor controller provides precise temperature control up to 500 degrees +/- 2 degrees. Model HCBS is designed to operate at speeds up to 100’ per minute and features a vacuum scrap removal system for the trimmed scrap above the seal area and scrap accumulator. The APM system allows for the use of wicketted shrink bags to be printed on the front and back of package and produces a final product with extra resistance to leaks.
