Palligistics™ Pick-to-Order Intelligent Palletizing Logistics System

AIDCO International has developed a total end-of-line packaging solution to allow customers to operate "ahead of the curve" in packaging supply chain management. As retailers demand a wider variety of packing configurations and timeliness has grown in importance as shorter production runs and faster to-shelf strategies are being sought, AIDCO has brought it's palletizing know how to bear on "Palletizing-to-Order" problems.

Palligistics™ involves that part of the packaging supply chain process that controls the efficient and effective palletizing or depalletizing flow and storage of items (packages, products or pallets) and its related information from the end of the packaging line over the entire supply chain, or within selected subsystems.

RoboticStar System

AIDCO, a systems partner of KUKA, has developed the RoboticStar palletizing system to compliment our conventional palletizers and so provide customers a flexible automation solution for today’s competitive environment. Regardless of application, we offer the right robotic palletizing solution, gripper technology, conveyor system, logistics and communication and process optimization.

RoboticStar is custom-built to each customers’ requirements. It can be reprogrammed quickly and easily to produce more than one item on a single production line. A wide variety of types of end-of-arm tooling have been developed, based on our expert knowledge of the industry to adapt the system to your specific space and tasks.

We specialize in grippers and vacuum handlers to case pack and palletize PET and glass bottles, kegs, aluminum or steel cans, and their accompanying corrugated cases, plastic crates, wooden pallets or other applications for the packaging industry.

SweepStar System

Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic Integrated Palletizing System

Our versatile high speed SweepStar depalletizer/ palletizer system is available as a High- or Low-Level System configuration and can handle most bulk can, glass or plastic containers, corrugated cartons and multi-purpose packages.

Some of the many features are:

• Package and pallet in-feed or discharge conveyance system can be configured to meet most customer's packaging line requirements.
• Can be ordered as a multifunctional system to depalletize or palletize most bulk containers.
• Optional pressure-less combiner which enables single filling on to the packaging line.
• Performs up to five sweeps per minute, with many soft handling features: soft internal elevator walls for pet applications, integrated pallet in-feed conveyers into elevator and internal pallet load clamps to stabilize product.
• Also available in Stainless Steel.

Our versatile, multipurpose LiftStar can be configured for high or low-level applications and is capable of handling most bulk can, glass or plastic containers and corrugated cartons or multi-purpose packages. It can function as a stacker, depalletizer and palletizer for low and high speed operation.

Features include:

• Adjustable double columns/frame can be ordered as a low level system and converted later to a high level system.
• Package in feed or discharge mechanisms can be easily configured to packaging line.
• Easy modification handle different types of pallet or package patterns by exchanging clamping or gripper head assembly.
• Performance of up to four sweeps per minute and up to eight sweeps per minute as a dual frame operation.

ShellStar System

Automatic Plastic Tray Denesting and Pallet Dispensing

Aidco's revolutionary new patented Shellstar system eliminates the need for manually feeding shells or crates directly to the product line. This is a fully automatic system requiring only a forklift operator to place a full pallet directly to the pallet conveyor. From there they are removed from the pallet, accumulated, single filed and denested one-by-one directly to the line at speeds in excess of 60 per minute. This system reduces labor, OSHA problems and increases productivity.
